At Effectuality, keeping our order process simple
and efficient is a priority. However, without full information up
front, orders often get sidetracked or delayed. Therefore, it is
important to understand the sequence of steps that will get your
order from concept to fulfillment as easily as possible. Below,
please find a series of steps which your order will go through.
Quote Stage
It is a good idea to get a formal quote on all projects
before proceeding. While the web site prices are fairly accurate,
they may change on a daily basis due to changes in currency rates
and other costs. Normally the quote you receive will be slightly
less than the pricing on the web site, however, sometimes, prices
are actually higher than advertised.
- The easiest way to get a quote is to visit our 'Online
Quote Request' page. By completing this form, which only takes
a few minutes, you ensure that we have all the required information
to prepare a complete and accurate quote. Alternatively, you may
call us toll free at 1-866-630-3355 to discuss your project with
one of our representatives. Most quotes are provided the same
day and often within a few hours. Quotes can be provided over
via email, fax or phone, although we prefer to provide our clients
with a permanent record.
- Once you receive your project quote, you should review it for
accuracy and ensure that all relevant questions are answered regarding
the project. Once this is complete, you are fully prepared to
proceed with your project.
Artwork and Master Stage
- We offer full design services for all your project components
including packaging and media.
- Before the project starts you should have artwork prepared for
the media and packaging, and a master CD or DAT available. We
must have the artwork and master (at our offices) before the project
can be started.

File Administration Page. This is the only way we accept files
electronically. If you intend to send your artwork via mail please

Order Stage
Having completed the above, you are now ready to proceed
to the order stage. The order stage has the following rough outline
- Using the quote request as a basis, correcting for errors or
omissions, we will generate an invoice for your project and email
or fax it to you.
- In order to proceed with your order, you will need to date,
sign, and mark 'Approved' on the order form. Following this, please
fax it to 416-630-3354.
- Once we have received your order form, we require the artwork
for the project as soon as possible. Submitting artwork early
helps ensure that we have time to review it, correct any problems,
and prepare a digital
 artwork
proof for your review.
- Using the shipping method of your choice, please ship the master
to our address. International shipments should be described as
'Master
CD, Not for resale' with a value of $1 per CD. This helps ensure
smooth transfers across any borders.

- Since you submitted your artwork early, the artwork proof should
be completed before the master CD arrives. Once you receive your
artwork proof (via email) please date, sign, mark 'Approved' and
fax to us at 416-630-3354. It is important to ensure that any
errors or problems are corrected in the artwork by this point.
Normally, film for the artwork is prepared soon after the approval
is received. Once the master arrives, the project is officially
moved into production. The first day that artwork and masters
are at our offices is known as day 0. All turnaround times begin
at day 0.
Payment Stage
We offer a number of payment options for our customers.
For most projects and new customers, we require 100% prepayment
before commencing the project. For existing customers, credit terms
can be arranged on a case by case basis. To facilitate the project,
most customers provide a payment via check included with the master
CD shipment. Otherwise, you can send your check separately or pay
using wire transfer, money order, or credit card.
Production Stage
Once production has begun, we endeavour to keep our customers
up to date on the status of their project. Any problems will be
brought to the attention of our customers immediately. Otherwise,
