What is the

Should I use a credit card
to pay for my online purchases?
Absolutely. It's the best payment method available to
the online-shopper. Provided, of course, that you use
the same discretion as when you pay in person in a regular
store. Using a credit card to shop online is as safe
as giving your credit card to a waiter. Effectuality
uses the best methods available today for safe and secure
transactions. If you are uncomfortable sending your
credit card over the internet you have two other options.
1) At the payment stage of our shopping cart it gives
you the option to "Print" and then fax the order form
to us. Our fax number is (416)630-3354. 2)Another option
is to hit the "Contact Me" button. A customer service
representative will contact you shortly.

How can I be assured that my
transaction will be completely secure?
If
you are using the Microsoft Explorer or the Netscape
Communicator browser, there are two ways of verifying
the privacy of your transactions: A good rule of thumb
while shopping anywhere on the internet is to make sure
that the security icon (a key or a lock) appears on
your screen; verify that the address of the document
you are accessing begins with https://. Do not submit
any information if you notice a broken key or an open
lock on your screen: these symbols indicate that the
transaction is not secure. Rest assured that fraudulent
interceptions (of credit card numbers, for example)
are extremely rare, since there are protocols governing
the transmission of personal information over the Internet.
Thanks to these protocols, your credit card number and
its expiry date become virtually indecipherable while
in transit over the Net.

When do you deliver?
Orders placed online before noon are shipped that day.
Orders received after noon will be shipped out the next
business day.

What are your Shipping charges for Orders?
Our shipping and handling charges are based on the weight of the items that you purchase, the shipping method, and the distance they are traveling. You can select different products to determine the weight and shipping costs on our web site http://www.effectuality.ca/com . We are located in Toronto Ontario and Burnaby British Columbia, Canada. Depending on how close you are to our warehouses, the shipment will cost more or less. If you are located in Southern Ontario, the lightest shipment via, Expedited Parcel, would cost approximately $4.00.

If I purchase more than $20 do I have to pay for Shipping?
Shipping costs cover the cost of shipping goods to your location. Administration costs cover the costs of processing credit card transactions, boxes for shipping, processing the order and preparing orders for shipment. Shipping must be paid on all orders placed. We do not charge an admin fee on orders that are over $25. Of the Administration fees, there is a fee to process and package orders under $12.50 ($5) and orders between $12.50 and $25 ($2.50).

I ordered the wrong thing, what is your policy on Returns?
If you accidentally purchased the wrong product, we will accept returns with a 20% restocking fee. Returns must be shipped back to Effectuality Inc. in the original packaging. The customer must notify Effectuality Inc. in a timely manner. The items should be returned at the customer's expense (i.e. you-the purchaser will cover return shipping costs). Shipping costs for the original shipment are not refundable. All items returned to Effectuality Inc. shall be shipped to the Toronto warehouse. No return will be accepted 15 days after the date of receipt. All returns that are accepted are refunded in the same manner they are purchased (i.e. if you purchase the items on ‘John Doe's' credit card, the refund will be returned to that same card only). Refunds are not available on items that are custom manufactured or printed, used, consumed, damaged or otherwise not resellable by Effectuality Inc.

I live nearby. Can I pick up my order at your Warehouse?
Yes. You can stop by our Burnaby (BC) or North
York (ON) office to pick up your order. Our hours of
business are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Our website
even has the appropriate options for you to have an efficient
visit with us. When you reach the shipping method section,
select either "Pick up Burnaby Warehouse" or “Pick
up Toronto Warehouse”. If you choose this option, we
will notify you via e-mail when the order is ready to
pick up.

Can I get my Order delivered C.O.D. (Cash on Delivery)?
Our policy requires our customers to prepay the full amount for their order prior to shipping. If you wish, your company may send us a Company/Corporate Cheque and we will gladly ship the items upon receiving payment. Currently we do not have a C.O.D option for payment. The "Will pay cash upon pickup" option is for customer's who are picking up their orders directly from the Burnaby, BC or the North York, ON warehouses.

We are a Company that only pays on Net Terms, what Options do you have for us?
Our payment policy is prepayment. We do allow credit to customer's by a naturally evolving structure. Those groups that have ordered with us more than 4 times, or who place large quantity orders, are considered for credit. You may also apply for credit with our company with a large order. The order must be for $1000 or more and the application will take 7-10 business days to process. There is a copy of our credit application on our web site. If you would like to proceed with the application, please send your completed application with your Purchase Order via fax to (416) 630-3354.

I don't live in North America. Will you ship to me and how much will it cost?
We do ship our items outside of North America. To find out exact cost for Shipping, please provide us with the items you would like to order as well as the complete Billing and Shipping addresses. Please submit the information to for an approximate quote and shipping times. We will create a manual invoice for your order based on the shipping method that you choose. Please note that some countries do not allow importation of some items. Responsibility for local regulations on importation of certain goods remains with the person ordering those items and the payments cannot be refunded in the case of problems with customs. Please check with local agencies prior to shipping.
